What we collect

Account details from LinkedIn, our only sign-in provider: your name, email address and profile image.

Career documents you upload (CVs, résumés, cover letters and similar files) and the profile data extracted from them: roles, projects, skills, details and the source each item came from.

Answers you share in conversations with Parv, and the job descriptions you paste to generate tailored application materials.

Usage counters (documents, replies to Parv and job preparations) used to enforce plan limits, and your subscription state from Stripe.

How we use your data

Your data is used only to provide the service: organizing your career profile, helping you strengthen it through guided conversations with Parv, and generating tailored CVs and application answers.

We never train AI models on your data, and we never sell your data to anyone.

AI processing

Document text and conversation answers are processed by a large language model (currently DeepSeek) to extract profile data and generate application materials. Content is sent to the model provider solely to produce your results; it is not used to train their models.

Third parties we rely on

DeepSeek — AI processing of your documents and conversations.

Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe handles your payment details directly; we never see your full card number.

LinkedIn — our only sign-in provider, via OAuth.

Hosting providers — store and serve the application, its database and uploaded files.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in our application database and document storage, encrypted in transit. Access is limited to what the service needs to operate.

Your data rights

You can ask to access or receive a copy of your data by emailing contact@pavolio.com.

You can delete your account from Settings → Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, uploaded documents and conversations.

Retention

You can delete your account from Settings → Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, uploaded documents and conversations. Login tokens are removed; a LinkedIn account reference is retained to recognize you if you return. We retain your internal user ID, deleted account status, past activity, analytics and billing records under the applicable retention periods. Returning with the same LinkedIn account opens an empty career workspace. Your billing history remains accessible and previous usage still counts. Marketing requires a new consent choice.

Help us improve Pavolio and share useful offers. Choose the options that suit you. Essential sign-in and security cookies stay on, and you can change your choices anytime.

Help us understand what works and make Pavolio easier to use. Google Analytics on public pages and Pavolio’s website and app analytics measure visits, feature use and progress through the product. With your permission, approved campaign activity can connect to your account when you sign in. Your documents and conversations stay out of analytics. With analytics permission, we connect repeat visits and referring sources, including partner links, to sign-up and payment. Confirmed partner commission records are retained with billing history.

See Pavolio offers that better match your interests, including reminders after a visit. With your permission, cookies, public-site activity, your plan and basic product milestones help personalize offers in Pavolio and on Google/YouTube, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and LinkedIn where connected. Those platforms may match browser identifiers to their users. Your email address, documents and job-search details are not uploaded to ad platforms.

Get useful tips, product updates, reminders and Pavolio offers at your account email, tailored to your plan and progress. Choose this option to subscribe. You can unsubscribe in any marketing email or change your choice here. Essential service emails are separate.

Your documents, conversations and job-search details are never shared with advertising platforms. Calls, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications and email-based ad audience matching require separate permission; they are not covered by this choice.

We retain choices and approved campaign details for up to 180 days, and detailed analytics events for up to 180 days. Withdrawal deletes Pavolio’s detailed analytics events and stops future optional use; it does not erase past platform reports. Advertising requires configured integrations. Email requires an identified account, sender details and unsubscribe controls. We retain suppression records to honor unsubscribes and prevent further email.

Choosing ‘Continue with this referral’ saves an opaque cookie and links that referral choice to your account when you sign in. It expires after the displayed referral window (up to 180 days). Remove it using ‘Remove referral’; deleting your account also removes the choice. Analytics permission is separate. Removing a choice does not erase an existing payment or commission record.
