Privacy Policy
Pavolio turns the career documents you provide into an organized profile you can strengthen in conversation and use to create tailored application materials. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the control you have over your data.
What we collect
Account details from LinkedIn, our only sign-in provider: your name, email address and profile image.
Career documents you upload (CVs, résumés, cover letters and similar files) and the profile data extracted from them: roles, projects, skills, details and the source each item came from.
Answers you share in conversations with Parv, and the job descriptions you paste to generate tailored application materials.
Usage counters (documents, replies to Parv and job preparations) used to enforce plan limits, and your subscription state from Stripe.
How we use your data
Your data is used only to provide the service: organizing your career profile, helping you strengthen it through guided conversations with Parv, and generating tailored CVs and application answers.
We never train AI models on your data, and we never sell your data to anyone.
AI processing
Document text and conversation answers are processed by a large language model (currently DeepSeek) to extract profile data and generate application materials. Content is sent to the model provider solely to produce your results; it is not used to train their models.
Third parties we rely on
DeepSeek — AI processing of your documents and conversations.
Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe handles your payment details directly; we never see your full card number.
LinkedIn — our only sign-in provider, via OAuth.
Hosting providers — store and serve the application, its database and uploaded files.
Storage and security
Your data is stored in our application database and document storage, encrypted in transit. Access is limited to what the service needs to operate.
Your data rights
You can ask to access or receive a copy of your data by emailing privacy@pavolio.com.
You can delete your account from Settings → Delete my account. This permanently removes your profile, uploaded documents and conversations.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, Pavolio deletes your account identifiers, LinkedIn connection, profile, uploaded files, conversations and job preparations. Stripe may retain billing records where required by law.
